Netflix will stream the movie of Alessandra de Rossi and Piolo Pascual
The movie My Amanda featuring Alessandra de Rossi and Piolo Pascual is set to stream on Netflix next month.
Teasers of the movie have been released back in 2019. Based on the article in the Philippine Ultimate Showbiz Hub, the working title of this film was “Fuffy and Fream”.
The story revolves around the lives of TJ and Amanda who are best friends and how they deal with complicated relationship including the one that they have.
This film serves as the directorial debut of Alessandra de Rossi. Piolo Pascual co-produced the project with Alex’s brother-in-law Jules Ledesma and sister Assunta de Rossi. Spring Film’s Bb. Joyce Bernal and Erickson Raymundo are also producers.
Alex said that this movie is very special to her because this is her gift for Piolo who she considers a good friend, as well as to the latter’s production outfit, Spring Films. She said that it is her way of showing appreciation to them for turning her life around after she did Kita Kita.
“This movie is about friendship, and how much I treasure connections that are sincere, overwhelming, and that have a very profound impact, at least for me. There is no single or universal definition that could explain how much gratefulness a person experiences when another being gives you a chance to believe in yourself. As the famous saying goes, I love you Pioooooolooooo!” Alessandra de Rossi said.
Piolo Pascual is also excited to share this story to the audience and to make them feel how good it is to be in the same journey with someone and knowing that profound companionship has good things to offer.
My Amanda will start streaming on Netflix on July 15.
