John Lloyd Cruz Officially Back in His Showbiz Career

JOHN LLOYD CRUZ – Blockbuster actor John Lloyd Cruz is officially back in his showbiz career and he might do two (2) shows under GMA-7 Network.

After more than two (2) years of showbiz hiatus, A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz is back on his acting career. His fans and supporters cannot contain their happiness to see him back in his craft and their excitement for the projects that he will be doing.

It was in October 2017 when John Lloyd shocked a lot of people with an indefinite leave from showbiz. Then, he was doing a very successful situational comedy show with Toni Gonzaga – the Home Sweetie Home. When asked about his decision, the actor said that he took the time to look at what is really going on.

John Lloyd is now a father to a two-year-old boy, Elias Modesto – his son with actress Ellen Adarna. The two (2) celebrities separated but are co-parenting their son.

Recently, John Lloyd made a huge TV appearance as one of the guests in the event of Shopee. He was officially welcomed by GMA-7 and Wowowin TV host Willie Revillame in his return to his showbiz career. There are speculations that the actor might be on his way to being a Kapuso.

Following the Shopee event, John Lloyd Cruz had a meeting with GMA Films President and programming consultant to the GMA chairman Annette Gozon-Valdes and director Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz. Based on a report on GMA News, they talked about the shows that the actor might do.

According to the report, John Lloyd may be doing two (2) shows under the Kapuso network and one of it is a sitcom. The target airing for the shows is 4th quarter of 2021.

In 2000, John Lloyd Cruz was also part of the GMA-7 horror-fantasy series Kakabakaba. A lot of people are excited for what awaits ahead including Atty. Gozon-Valdes.

Aside from the GMA Films President and programming consultant to the GMA Chairman, the actor has also reportedly met with Joey Abacan, the vice president for program management of the Kapuso network.
