Nigerian National Arrested with P2.7M Worth of Illegal Drugs in Makati

Authorities arrested a Nigerian national and confiscated P2.7 million worth of illegal drugs during the police operation in Makati.

A Nigerian national and his accomplice were nabbed in a buy-bust operation in Makati’s Barangay West Rembo. The 38-year-old Nigerian and his buddy alias Buntis, both from Cavite, were arrested, according to Makati Police.

The two exchanged P150,000 worth of illegal substances with the poseur-buyer. The accused were found with 400 grams of suspected shabu worth P2.7 million.

The two will be charged with breaking the Controlled Substances Act. In separate buy-busts in Bicol, two accused high-value narcotics suspects were apprehended.

Meanwhile, the suspects were busted with more over P3 million worth of drugs. Meanwhile, in Triangulo, Naga City, a police poseur buyer purported to acquire P600,000 worth of shabu from the suspect.

The suspect, a female resident of Silang, Cavite, who was supposedly a member of a narcotics ring, was caught right after the transaction. He is also accused of being in charge of illegal substances in Bicol. The suspect was found with 500 grams of suspected shabu with a street worth of more than P3 million.
