Movie of Bea Alonzo, John Lloyd Cruz Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina To Be Restored

BEA ALONZO – The Kapamilya actress and actor John Lloyd Cruz met with blockbuster director Cathy Garcia-Molina via Zoom.

In the Philippine showbiz industry, the “BeaLloyd” is one of the most popular loveteams that hooked a lot of people. Both John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo are among the biggest stars in the industry.

John Lloyd and Bea worked on several projects together, mostly films. They top-billed the blockbuster hit movies One More Chance and A Second Chance. They played the characters of Popoy and Basha who became prominent and always tagged on the two (2) celebrities.

Aside from the said blockbuster movies, the two (2) celebrities also worked together in the film Miss You Like Crazy which was also a hit. It was released in 2010 under the direction of Cathy Garcia-Molina.

A lot of people are excited now as the people who made Miss You Like Crazy are set for a restoration of the film. Sagip Pelikula head Leo Katigbak shared on social media a screenshot of his Zoom meeting with John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo, direk Cathy Garcia-Molina, and Miss You Like Crazy screenwriter Vanessa Valdez.

In his caption, Katigbak recalled that the last time that five (5) of them met was for the special recording for One More Chance. They had a face-to-face meeting then over Italian food but for now they have to settle with the Zoom meeting. Meanwhile, he stressed that having it virtual “doesn’t make the moment any less special”.

John Lloyd Cruz has just returned to his showbiz career after over two (2) years of hiatus. Many of his fans and supporters are excited for an upcoming reunion movie with Bea that the actress previously confirmed. Many people miss the iconic loveteam on screen.
