Here’s why Claudine Barretto wanted to apologize to ex-boyfriend Mark Anthony Fernandez.
CLAUDINE BARRETTO – Optimum Star Claudine Barretto wanted to apologize to her ex-boyfriend actor Mark Anthony Fernandez due to this reason.
Optimum star Claudine Barretto and actor Mark Anthony Fernandez got together for real and have worked together as well in Pare Ko (1995) and Mangarap Ka (1995) where their romance apparently blossomed. However, it didn’t work out between the two of them and right after their pair-up, Claudine found a successful real and reel romance with the late Rico Yan.
And now, many years after, after several setbacks of their reunion project, it is finally happening. Their reunion film entitled “Deception” is under the direction of Joel Lamangan to be produced by Viva Films and Borracho Entertainment. They are set to start their production shoot under a new normal on June 11 in Angeles and San Fernando, Pampanga.
And recently, talking about their romance, Claudine revealed something about their relationship before. She revealed that there have been no actual closure between them after they worked in Mangarap Ka which was in the year 1996. The Optimum Star revealed that it was accordingly that time that he had an affair with another woman. Laughing, she added, “Pero na-ghosting ko yata si Mark nun. One day I woke up and realized mas importante careers namin. It was really young love, mapusok!”
But for the record, among her past loves, it was Mark Anthony who is accordingly the kindest. He never spoke ill about her and took all the jabs. She said as per the ABS-CBN article, “He just takes all the jabs! Very gentleman… siguro ako ‘yung dapat mag-ask ng forgiveness from him.”
Countering what the actress has said, the actor expressed that despite not having closure, they were still able to maintain their friendship. In a previous article, Claudine shared that she is now ready for a new relationship and welcome a new baby. She was not in a rush to find someone but she’s not closing doors to whoever may come into her life.
