Builder Destroys Home Due To Unpaid Bills As Family Goes On Vacation
BUILDER DESTROYS HOME – A builder demolished a home he built for a family due to unpaid bills.
Obviously, not being paid for an honest work is hard enough, especially amid a pandemic. However, it stings even more after the family goes on a holiday vacation instead of paying you.
According to an article from LadBible, the home was worth $670,000. After a year’s worth of arguments over the unpaid bills, the builder got fed up and decided to “undo” his work while the family left for vacation.
As per the article, the 40-year-old house owner said:
“I bought the house last year. The builder started in February and we wanted lots of work done so it could become our family home for six of us…
We wanted a two-storey extension, a new roof, new wiring and for it to be more environmentally-friendly.”
Following the incident, the owner said that he “picked the worst builder”. Initially, the homeowner refused to pay the builder $4,900. As such, he left the home partially demolished.
There has yet to be a comment from the builder who destroyed the home. What do you think about this? Was his actions justified? Write your comments below!
