Kind Truck Driver Earned Praise for Helping Pickup Cross Bridge with High Waters
The online community praises a kind truck driver after spotted helping a pickup driver cross the bridge amid the flood waters strongly flowing.
A video of a humanitarian act was shared on Facebook amid the high flood levels that were rushing over the bridge. Due to the weather disturbance “Dante,” heavy rain fell in certain parts of the country earlier.
As a result, residents of some areas hit by Typhoon Dante were greeted with devastating floods and landslides. According to the latest information from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, up to four persons were killed, two were injured, and seven were missing at the end of typhoon “Dante.”
Meanwhile, a video posted on the Facebook page “Malakas” has gotten a lot of attention on social media, prompting netizens to happily proclaim “humanity is restored.” In the video, a bridge is submerged in fast-flowing river water.

A truck was going to cross the bridge, as shown in the video. However, the driver noticed that the pickup truck behind him was also attempting to cross the bridge despite the high current.
But, thanks to the truck driver’s chivalry, he returns to assist the pickup. The driver blocks the powerful flow of water with his vehicle, allowing the pickup to pass the flooded bridge.
The video has gotten a lot of attention on social media and has gotten a lot of different opinions from people. The kind-hearted behavior of the truck driver in the midst of the disaster has been praised and saluted by netizens.
