Kylie Verzosa has a new miniseries with Marco Gumabao and Xian Lim
Beauty queen-actress Kylie Verzosa shared her experience working with Marco Gumabao and Xian Lim in a new miniseries titled Parang Kayo Pero Hindi.
After her beauty pageant stint, Kylie ventured into acting and has already done several TV series and movies. Her latest project is something that she is very excited about because she can show the new things that she learned when it comes to acting.
For her, this project with Marco and Xian is fun and challenging. She also said that she enjoys doing it, based on the article in Inquirer Lifestyle.
“It’s a beautiful story. It’s one of my favorite projects I’ve done so far. It’s a story about complicated relationships. You know the feeling when you’re dating, you’re doing everything that couples do, you’re lovey-dovey, you’re sweet, but ‘di pa rin kayo (you’re still not an item), or it’s very undefined? Neither one of you wants to make the first step, or either one’s not ready,” she shared.
When asked how it was working with her two leading men, Kylie Verzosa said that since Marco Gumabao has been her friend during the time they did Los Bastardos, it was fun working with him again.
Since her character in the miniseries is someone who had a new relationship with Xian’s character, she told her director, “Direk, I think it would work that Xian and I don’t know each other so much as compared to how Marco and I know each other.” She used the real-life status of her closeness with Marco and Xian for her character.
“It worked! But, taping it, Xian and I got close also. He’s super professional. And we had to tape under quarantine, so we had to be disciplined. We shot for 17 days,” Kylie Verzosa revealed.
