PNP Officials Visit Wake Of Lola Valdez, Slain Victim Of Drunken Cop

PNP OFFICIALS VISIT WAKE – Newly appointed Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, Guillermo Eleazar, along with other officials, visited the wake of Lillibeth Valdez.

Just under six months after the “My Father Is A Policeman” incident, another officer was caught on camera killing an innocent civilian. As such, netizens beg the question, how many more weren’t filmed? Furthermore, irony cloaked the incident as the officer who shot Valdez dead posted on social media that “The Sins of Nuezca is not the sins of the PNP”.

Meanwhile, to address the situation, Eleazar personally handled the suspect who was identified as Police Master Sergeant Hensie Zinampan. Afterward, Eleazar, along with Brig. Gen. Antonio Yarra, the district director of Quezon City Police, came to the wake of the victim.

According to Eleazar, the family was contented with how the police handled the case. Currently, the suspect is waiting for the commitment order for him to be transferred to jail.

However, the family is still calling for help in terms of financial assistance. Based on an article from ABS-CBN, the family said somebody paid for the funeral, however, the burial would cost money and their only source of income that takes care of their son and grandsons was unfortunately killed by a police officer.
