Showbiz hopefuls should have this perception, Maja Salvador says
Her Majesty Maja Salvador shared important pieces of advice to showbiz hopefuls, especially those who will join in TV5’s talent search PoPinoy.
Maja is one of the “Hunters” in the said show who will judge the contestants if they deserve a spot in the entertainment industry. During a recent virtual media conference for this new show in the Kapatid network, she was asked to share her motivating words of the hopefuls.
Based on the article in The Philippine Star, the actress-dancer said that failure is not the end of everything. Instead, this should be a way to keep someone motivated to reach a certain goal.
“If ever man, kung di sila makapasok, gamitin nila yun, kasi sa bawat failure, dun tayo mas nagiging strong. From there, we will determine kung ano ba ang calling mo, ano ba yung para sa ‘yo, ano ba talaga ang gusto mong gawin,” Maja Salvador said.
Then, she said that that those who can enter the next round should not be confident enough and just stop working for self-improvement. Maja stressed the importance of exploring and challenging one’s self.
For her, it is a good thing that those who are in the entertainment industry should always have something new to offer. to the audience.
“So, always reinvent and repackage yourself. Para hindi yun at yun lang ang naibibigay mo sa audience. There has to be something new and something that makes the audience excited about you all the time,” she said.
She also said that being a star is not just all about destiny, it also requires hard work. For Maja, being discovered is just one step to reach stardom. In her experience, she worked hard until she has reached her status now in showbiz. However, she also considers the experience of others who were once given a chance but immediately became superstars.
“Pero kahit ano pa po yan, basta ang importante ay yung attitude, yung pagmamahal sa trabaho, sa mga katrabaho mo, yung ganun,” Maja Salvador added.
