Her Majesty Maja Salvador admitted that there was a time when she really “nagpapansin” to Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza.
Maja had a chance to meet Maine and she said that she really took an effort so that the latter would notice her. The head of Crown Artist Management expressed that she is happy to work with the Eat Bulaga host.
Based on the article in Abante Entertainment, it was a refreshing feeling for Maja to work with Maine. “Excited kami kasi nandito ang Cignal at TV5 para gumawa ng ganitong talent show. At nakagawa sila ng paraan para magsama-sama ang mga artista na mula sa ibang network,” she said.
Maine and Maja are now part of the new talent search show POPinoy in the Kapatid network with Paolo Ballesteros. Her Majesty shared that there was an awards night that she hosted and the Phenomenal Star happened to be there also.
Maja Salvador said that she was really “nagpapansin kay Maine.” Many people requested that they should have a project together and so it appeared that what happened during the awards night looked like a “promo” for their new show together.
“Tapos noong lumabas ito, parang promo na, nakitang magkama kami, sabi nila, sana magkaroon ng kulitan. Sabi ko, wait lang kayo diyan nag-uumpisa pa lang,” the actress-dancer said.
When it comes to being one of the head hunters in POPinoy, she said that the heart of the contestant is a major factor for her. Maja Salvador stressed that the talent can be developed and there are a lot of people who are really talented and so she opted to find the “heart” of the performer.
