Couple Who Pretended as PRC Personnel Offering 100% Passing Rate Arrested by Police Authorities

MANILA – A couple has been arrested by the police authorities after pretending as personnel of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

A woman named Armi Liquid is using an alias of Julieta Toledo to victimize board exam takers. The lady suspect and her husband Mario Liquid were pretending as PRC personnel and offering 100 percent passing rate to the examinees in exchange of money.

The couple assures the exam takers of 100 percent passing and answer keys for P4, 000. Armi is using various names in performing her illegal activities to earn cash. She also introduced herself as the chairman of the PRC board of respiratory therapist.

The police authorities arrested that suspects after receiving a report from an anonymous caller who exposed the modus of the two. The authorities tried to verify the name of the suspects at PRC and confirmed that they were fake.

“Actually yung mga biktima nila kinokontak namin, may mga taga Capiz, meron mga taga Zamboanga nakausap naming sa cellphone ang mga nakukuhang pera sa kanila is mga P40,000 , P50, 000 o P70, 000,” Chief, Investigation Section MPD Station 4 PLT Joseph Villafranca said.

The suspects are now facing multiple charges because of the illegal activities.
