Ex-Drug Offender Chinese National Newly Freed from Jail Killed in an Ambush

A Chinese national allegedly an ex-drug offender was killed in an ambush in Parañaque City after being newly freed from jail.

In Parañaque City, a Chinese national who had recently been released from prison was killed in a taxi with a female paralegal. Wang Teng Shou, a resident of Malate, Manila, has been named as the victim.

After receiving gunshot wounds to different parts of his body from an unspecified caliber rifle, the ex-drug offender did not make it to Parañaque Doctors Hospital alive. The shooting occurred about 6:45 p.m. in front of the Skyway next to Automobilico along Doa Soledad Avenue, Barangay Don Bosco in Parañaque District, according to the police.

Gina Rubiato, a resident of Brgy. Santa Cruz in Pasig City and a KRT Law Firm paralegal was with the Chinese national who was killed. In Metro Manila District Jail Annex 2, Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City, Rubiato chose the Chinese national.

He is said to have completed his sentence in case RA 9165. (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). Shou and Rubiato boarded a Toyota Avanza (Tadique Taxi) operated by 57-year-old Noel Cerrada with the license plate WVO-664 to deliver to Adriatico St., Malate, Manila.

When the suspect on a motorcycle arrived at the Skyway place, he shot Shou several times before fleeing in an unknown direction. The wounded Chinese national was taken by ambulance from Barangay Don Bosco and was rushed to the hospital for treatment, but he passed away.
