NBI Arrested Female Med Rep for Possession of Stolen Cheques in Pampanga
A female medical representative (med rep) was arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in Pampanga for stolen checks.
Eloisa F. Mendoza was arrested by the NBI-Central Luzon Regional Office in an entrapment operation at a fast food center in Barangay Dolores in San Fernando, Pampanga, according to NBI Officer-in-Charge-Director Eric Distor.

16 stolen and forged checks were discovered and confiscated in the possession of Mendoza. Mendoza allegedly used some of them to pay a total of P417,471 to his employer, Genace Pharma Distributor.
As she was finalizing the cheque payments, Mendoza was arrested inside a fast food center in Barangay Dolores. Mendoza is facing charges of ‘illegal possession and use of fake treasury or bank notes and other instruments of credit,’ according to the inquest.
Meanwhile, government agency joined force seized P15.7 million worth of ecstasy at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and arrested two (2) claimants. Two claimants of three packages containing 9,243 ecstasy tablets worth over P15.7 million were arrested by the Bureau of Customs-Ninoy Aquino International Airport (BOC-NAIA), the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), and the NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group.
According to the BOC, the parcels were delivered from the Netherlands by Agner Buzeta and Victor Martis. “Handbags and accessories,” “baby clothing,” and “clothes” were all declared on the packages.
