Toni Gonzaga talked about this emotional moment with her mom and sister
Actress-host Toni Gonzaga revealed in her recent Toni Talks vlog that she had a near-death experience and Mommy Pinty recalled that emotional time they encountered.
For the Mother’s Day episode of Toni’s vlog, she invited her mom who is also her talent manager. The famous TV host said that her mom has been emotional ever since when it comes to her.
Toni said that sometimes even her text with an exclamation point would make her mom emotional but this is not the same situation with her sister Alex Gonzaga.
Then, there was a point in their conversation that Mommy Pinty became really emotional. Toni Gonzaga brought up the incident when she had a near-death experience.
Mommy Pinty shared that Toni was just one year old back then when she experienced convulsion. They came from the church and Toni, although she had a slight fever, was still energetic and was playing and running around.
Uncle Jojo, while holding Toni, approached Mommy Pinty and asked why his niece looked like that. Toni was already “black and blue” at that time and seemed to be lifeless.
“Tapos and dila niya umuurong, nakakatakot talaga,” Mommy Pinty said. After Uncle Jojo brought Toni to Mommy Pinty, the latter was panicking when she brought her first daughter to her mother.
Then, Mommy Pinty said that she confined herself inside the cabinet and prayed. When Toni Gonzaga asked her mother what she prayed back then, the latter went emotional again.
“Na-imagine ko kasi,” Mommy Pinty said and Alex asked if Toni was “nakadilat”. “Wala, wala na nga, parang patay nga,” the mother of 2 actresses said.
Fortunately, Toni was able to recover but Mommy Pinty and Daddy Bonoy have become really conscious about their firstborn’s health.
