Rabiya Mateo: Beauty Queen Nicole Cordovez Says This About Her

RABIA MATEO – Philippines’ representative for this year’s Miss Universe Rabiya Mateo received this comment from this beauty queen.

Eyeing to follow the victories of beauty queens Gloria Diaz, Margie Moran, Pia Wurtzbach, and Catriona Gray is Rabiya Mateo. She is the representative of the country for the 69th Miss Universe which will be held in Florida on Sunday, May 16, at 8 pm Eastern Time which is Monday morning of May 17 in the Philippines.

18 countries have backed out already due to the pandemic and the implemented travel restrictions. The countries that did not send a candidate are Germany, Angola, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Georgia, Guam, Kenya, Lithuania, Mongolia, Namibia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Saint Lucia, Sierra Leone, Sweden, Tanzania, Turkey, and U.S. Virgin Islands.

And now, with the coronation night fast approaching, Miss Grand International 2016 first runner-up Nicole Cordoves has made some comments about her. Accordingly, seeing her short clips on Instagram made her see how well she can communicate with the people and take the conversation in to a deeper level. As per her, this is important and something that cannot just be taught in workshops.

She shared in Magandang Buhay during its Wednesday episode, “Nakita ko na nagbibigay siya ng talk or speech noon sa isang barangay tapos alam niya kung paano siya makipag-connect sa kinakausap niya, sa audience niya on a deeper level.”

Meanwhile, Miss Universe 2013 3rd runner-up Ariella Arida also shared some kind words to her. She may not be able to please everyone but she should also be aware of why they trusted her to carry the PH flag in the international pageant. She also told her, “Represent the Philippines the best way you can.”
