Tatay Mamay, on the other hand, was reportedly scammed and got winter clothing instead of shorts. The elderly man allegedly found it difficult to sell winter clothes because it is now summer in the country.

He allegedly sold some of them for as little as ten pesos in order to recoup his investment. According to the uploader, the elderly businessman must sell everything to them in order to repay the money he owes.

Utang lang puhunan tapos nascam pa,” Sabino told The Philippine Star.

Support allegedly poured in for Tatay Mamay after it was posted and seen by a large number of netizens. They have been very helpful to their family. They’re also in front of our house right now, Sabino said.

The seller who sold to Tatay Mamay is said to have deactivated his Facebook account. Tatay Mamay’s daughter Lerio Tabaya thanked those who assisted her father in another Facebook post.
