Heartwarming Photos of Sta. Rosa Community Pantry Showing Kindness to Non-Resident Senior Citizen Earn Praises Online
Sta. Rosa community pantry has shown an act of kindness towards a senior citizen who is not a resident in the area.
The Facebook page “Santa Rosa Laguna Community Pantries” has shared the heartwarming photos of an elderly man taking the foods he need to survive during that day. The post goes viral and earned praises online.
The volunteers manning the pantry notice an elderly grandpa walking and taking a glance at the goods displayed in the pantry. The grandpa is hesitating to approach the volunteers because he is not a resident of Santa Rosa Homes.
One volunteer asked the senior citizen if where do he lives, the old man answered that he came from “Mabuhay”. The volunteer told the poor grandpa to take some goods from the pantry for his consumption.
The kind person told the senior citizen not to hesitate taking goods although he is not a resident of Santa Rosa Homes. The old man only took two pieces of eggs, eggplant and a bitter gourd and refused to take other items.
