La Vida Lena actor JC De Vera is among those actors and public figures who are really private when it comes to matters regarding their personal life. He once admitted that he really limits himself in choosing what to post online. As much as many people know, he is already a father to baby Lana Athena with his partner Rikka Cruz who is now his wife.
In a previous article, he admitted that he and Rikka got married even before they had their child in a civil wedding. A church wedding will also follow for them and when it comes to leaving his life as a single man, it is solely his choice. He shared their about his piece in matters like this, “Talagang kinalimutan ko yung buhay-binata. Oo, choice yun, I swear. Para sa lahat ng mga ano, nag-enjoy sa pagka-binata, siguro at one point in their lives, mag-decide then sila na, ‘Ayoko na ‘yan, hindi ko na babalikan ‘yan.’”
And now, recalling on how he met his other half, in an interview with Toni Gonzaga on I Feel U, the actor shared that he met her through their common friends. After meeting in a party, they’ve had communication the following day and her “walls were very high” then when JC came into her life.
In figuring out that Rikka is the one for him, he stressed this, “Maganda ‘yung flow namin together. Maganda ‘yung pakikitungo namin sa isa’t isa. Meron kaming likes and dislikes pero at the same time, we have so much similarities and difference also,”
He added that they also know each other too well which is one of the many factors why they have a happy life together as a couple.
