This is how Janine Gutierrez took care of her mental health
Kapamilya actress Janine Gutierrez admitted that there was a point when she went through therapy as part of her effort to take care of her mental health.
There have been several celebrities in the Philippines who shared their struggles as they experienced downfall when it comes to their mental health. Many famous people in showbiz are also advocating this matter as they are stressing that it is also as important as physical health.
In a recent Instagram question and answer session that Janine did, one of the netizens asked her about coping up with the situation when she is feeling down, based on the article in Bandera.
“What did you do when you were at your lowest?” the netizen asked. Janine Gutierrez answered truthfully as she said that she went to therapy and it was a big help for her.
“I went to therapy, it has saved me XX times and I highly recommend it. If you’re feeling lost or low, don’t be afraid to reach out,” the award-winning actress revealed.
Through the therapy, she said that she was able to understand the things that are bothering her, as well as her emotions. “Everyone has their own experience, but it has helped me because I’ve always come out of it with a new perspective,” she added.
Having the therapy also made her realize what she is supposed to do in this kind situation, instead of feeling anxious and hopeless. For her, the therapy has handed back her future several times already.
She also shared the link of the place where she would go in order to recharge for her mental health. “I would go to the Bulatao center in Ateneo,” Janine Gutierrez shared.
