Anne Curtis and Angel Locsin extended help to the Pasig City government
Kapamilya stars Anne Curtis and Angel Locsin donate P1-million each to Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto amid the remarkable effort to fight COVID-19.
Anne and Angel are just two of the many celebrities who continue doing their part for the society, especially amid the pandemic. The two A-list stars of ABS-CBN once again did an effort in order to help the less fortuate.
Based on the article in Pang-Masa, during a recent Facebook Live session of Mayor Vico, he thanked the two actresses for donating the said amount to Pasig City.
The young Mayor said that he wasn’t able to meet Anne and Angel personally for their donation but they just left the checks at his office. Those were from the projects of the celebrities called Shop & Share that was able to raise P6-million.
They divided the said amount and gave it to chosen local government units for the COVID-19 vaccination program. Previously, one Kapamilya star also donated to the Pasig City government. Bea Alonzo personally donated goods to Mayor Vico Sotto through her I AM HOPE foundation.
At that time, intrigue surfaced between the two famous personalities as they were being linked to each other. However, the young Mayor would always say that he has no time to focus on his love life because his priority right now is serving his constituents in Pasig City.
That is the reason why his would always became a trending topic on social media as his efforts to serve the people would always catch the attention of netizens even those who are not Pasig residents.
