Gretchen Ho Donates Brand New Bike to Delivery Boy Using Roller Skates to Earn a Living
The Filipino television presenter Gretchen Ho donated a brand new bike to the delivery boy who used roller blades to earn a living.
Earlier this week, the 30-year-old delivery boy identified as Ronie Conocido goes viral online for delivering the orders of his customers using his roller blades. He accepts orders and bookings from his Facebook account.
Conocido is using his rollerblades to earn money and support the financial necessities of his family due to the hardships of life. He is also working as a barangay tanod but his salary is not enough to fulfill their needs.
The delivery workers earns praises and admiration from the online community because of his determination in life.
Recently, the former volleyball player Gretchen Ho noticed Ronie after she has been tagged by the netizens. She donated a brand new bicycle to the delivery rider to make his work easier and deliver the parcels faster.
The hardworking guy could deliver almost anything including an electric fan, which shows his determination and perseverance in life. Gretchen is hoping that the bike could help Conocido with his work.

“DEJA VU. Naalala ko kasi yung unang binigyan namin ng bisikleta last year sa #DonateABikeSaveAJob ay isang rollerblader delivery boy din. Kaya nung na-tag ako sa post na ito (asking for a bike), it really moved me.

Sa totoo lang, hindi ko alam kung paano.. kasi discouraged at nakakatakot na rin lumabas ngayon.
I know there’s a lot of fear & uncertainty over what’s been happening, and this general feeling of tiredness dahil paulit-ulit na lang na parang walang katapusan, and sometimes that can be paralyzing. But seeing Ronnie on his rollerblades also reminded me na hindi pa tapos ang laban.
So when things happen twice over, or seem that they do, you respond to it the way you did last time, or even better this time around.

Kung si Kuya Ronnie nga kinakayang magdeliver ng electric fan gamit ang rollerblades para dumiskarte sa buhay diba!!
May natira pang budget mula sa #DonateABikeSaveAJob project last year (about 27k or 7 bikes). I was saving it to start the @womaninactionph show, but even that we had to postpone to a little bit later this year, when it’s safer to shoot, and hopefully nabakunahan na.
