This is what Vice Ganda learned to do before Ion Perez would let him buy Vespa.
VICE GANDA – “Lovers On Scooter” vlog of Vice Ganda shows how Ion Perez taught him to ride a scooter before he buys Vespa.
“Gusto ko magmotor-motor, di ba nakaka-cute. Nakakabagets,” says “It’s Showtime” host Vice Ganda as he shares plan to buy a Vespa scooter. Vespa is a famous brand of scooter from Italy. According to Zig Wheels, the price ranges from ₱145,000.00 to ₱777,000.00 and currently, there are five (5) models available in the country: Vespa 946, Vespa Primavera, Vespa Sprint, Vespa S 125, and Vespa GTS.
However, before buying, his long-time partner Ion Perez suggested for him to learn riding the scooter first. And with his partner, he tried the scooter given to them and learned under his supervision. He shared, “Di ako makabili [ng Vespa] kasi di naman ako marunong magmotor. Sabi ni Ion, bago raw ako bumili mag-aral muna ako kahit sa scooter lang.”
They started their training inside his house, particularly in his wide living room. The space in the area is just enough for him to ride the scooter in a short distance. After several rides and tries, he learned to balance himself on top and move around when they decided to continue their training outside their house.

To recall, it was last 2019 when Ion and Vice made their relationship official in front of “madlang people” after the performance of host during Showtime’s 10th anniversary. It received various comments including the negative and critical ones but Ion proved that he’s not just after the money.
