Toni Gonzaga talked about the memory that makes her sad
Actress-host Toni Gonzaga revealed the year that was really devastating to her and her family in a recent episode of her digital talk show I Feel U.
For the 20th anniversary of Toni in the entertainment industry, her own show had a special episode. Instead of interviewing a guest, she was being interviewed by no other than King of Talk Boy Abunda.
One of the questions that Tito Boy asked to Toni was about the memories that makes her happy and the one that makes her sad.
The female host shared that the year 2000 brings sad memories. Toni Gonzaga shared the details why that year was devastating for her and her family.
She said that at time, she was laid off from her only regular show in GMA, Bubble Gang, because it went through reformatting. At that time, her job was helping their family income. In the same year, her mother resigned from work with the anticipation that Toni will make it big instantly in showbiz.
That year was also a tragic as her grandmothers from both parents, Mommy Pinty and Daddy Bonoy, died with just one month interval.
In 2000, Toni’s father also entered politics and that was his first time. Unfortunately, Daddy Bonoy lost. The female host tagged that year as their year of lost.
She also shared that she and her sister Alex Gonzaga were watching the millennium celebration on TV with sadness. There was no celebration in their house at that time because they were “walang-wala”.
Tito Boy said that it was what other people may call “annus horribilis” or a year of disaster or misfortune.
