Paul Salas shared this frustrating moment in his showbiz career
Actor Paul Salas revealed that he almost quit showbiz because of this frustrating moment that happened on the set of a certain project in the past.
Paul started his career in the entertainment industry at a young age. He was one of those actors who started from being a child star and then eventually did mature roles.
However, that transition from being a child actor to mature roles was not easy for him. Based on the article in Bandera, Paul shared that he had a chance to showcase his drama acting.
“Sanay po ako dati, kasi mahirap pong mag-switch sa from child actor to mature roles,” he shared. At that time, it was a big project with prominent names in showbiz.
Paul Salas revealed that there was scene that he failed to do because it was a very heavy one. He said that the production spent almost a day in order for him to do that specific scene.
“Tapos hindi na lang pinalagpas, sabi sa next taping day na lang kung kalian magagawa mo ulit,” he recalled.
He said that instance really made him feel down to the point that he almost stopped his showbiz engagements.
After that scene, Paul shared that he went to his car and cried. “Sabi ko, ‘ayoko na, auyoko na,’ Umayaw na talaga ako,” he said.
However, as he really loves acting, he did not quit and took that frustrating moment to be a way to improve his craft. Paul Salas is also thankful for the support of his family in his showbiz career.
