Fake wedding of Raymart Santiago and Jodi Sta Maria
A video showing the “rumored wedding” of celebrity couple Raymart Santiago and Jodi Sta. Maria circulated online.
Last year, the relationship between Raymart and Jodi was revealed as their intimate photos surfaced on social media. Just recently, based on the article by entertainment columnist Rey Pumaloy in Abante, a YouTube video was uploaded about the supposed union of the celebrity couple.
However, Pumaloy said that it was obvious that the video was just short clips from a scene of Jodi’s past teleserye. On the part of Raymart’s video, clips from his wedding with former partner Claudine Barretto were used.
The columnist added the video editor really took an effort to link the two videos from two different events just to make it look like it was the wedding of Raymart Santiago and Jodi Sta Maria.
Pumaloy pointed out that the two separate video sources obviously have different textures and there were no close-up shots of the celebrity couple together. He added in his article that Raymart and Jodi should take an action against the uploader of the video because their videos were used to deceive other people.
Meanwhile, an article in 2019 stated that the annulment of Raymart and Claudine was still in the process. There is no report yet stating that their marriage is officially annulled.
A recent issue surfaced between the former couple as Claudine filed a case against Raymart regarding his financial support for their children Sabina and Santino. The Optimum Star also accused the current girlfriend of her estranged husband of disrespecting her.
