Radio Dj in Bohol Accidentally Shot to Death by Bodyguard
A radio DJ died after being accidentally shot by his bodyguard at an inn in Tagbilaran, Bohol, according to a report in “Balitanghali” on Monday.
The victim was identified as Rizalino Torralba or “Inday Ruping,” 45. Inday Ruping was a known radio personality in Tagbilaran City and a faculty member of the University of Bohol.
The suspect, Andrew Fronteras, allegedly shot the victim using a .45 caliber gun around 10 pm Saturday at a local inn, according to Tagbilaran City police. The suspect immediately surrendered to the police and confessed that he accidentally shot the victim.

Based on the initial investigation, Torralba and Fronteras quarreled after checking in at the inn after a show. The police said Fontreras had told them that Inday Ruping grabbed his gun that was on the bed and fired it accidentally, killing herself.
The initial investigation also disclosed that Fontreras left their room at around 11 pm Saturday. Tagbilaran police have already filed a complaint against Fronteras and he will face murder charges.
