Nadine Lustre said she has freedom now after leaving VAA
With this, the talent management company filed a case against her as the agency believes that the contract still binds them.
Despite having to face VAA when it comes to legal matters, based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Nadine Lustre does not feel worried.
In an interview, the actress-singer said that she feels a certain getting away from her contract with Viva. She is happy to have the independence and freedom to do what she wants.
“Before, there were so many things that I couldn’t do. I was branded differently, you know, the usual artista where everyone has to look up to you like you’re a saint, which I’m not,” she said.
Nadine also said that when she left the agency, she was able to say no to things that she does not want to do and yes to the things that the agency would not want her to do.
“I was able to dress the way that I want, I was able to put out things that are up to the quality that I want. Before, there were so many limitations,” she added.
On the other hand, Nadine Lustre admitted that it is difficult for her to score big projects now as there is no one to back her up with it comes to the financial aspect. However, she said that it is worth it.
The actress-singer also said that she does not want to look back anymore because she feels like she is free. “Just expressing myself and showing everyone who I really am. And I believe it should have been like that from the very beginning,” Nadine said.
