Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista revealed her experience with her “cruel” ex-boyfriend in her recent YouTube vlog.

Heart has been known as one of the fashionistas in the Philippines. She is popularly known for her classy personality but many loves her because of her “kakikayan”.

The actress/style icon always exudes positivity as she aims to share this to her social media followers and fans. However, there was a point in her life that her bubbly personality was hidden as she faced difficult times.

In her recent vlog, she talked about the lessons that she learned in her 36 years of existence. One of the important point she shared was that being with someone who does not hold you back.

With this lesson, Heart Evangelista shared that she had a non-showbiz ex-boyfriend, who made her learn this important thing in her life.

“I had a boyfriend that was so bad to me. He wasn’t showbiz. I hardly talk about him or speak about him. Sad to say, he was just actually a rebound. But I really wanted it to work because I wanted to get over someone but he was really cruel,” she said.

The actress said that even though she was not handling her finances at that time, her ex-boyfriend told her that she can’t her money when they get married because it is just for their children.

Heart also said that that non-showbiz guy would always prohibit her in many things that she wants to do because he was controlling.
