BLACKPINK Rose recently debuted her debut solo single “On The Ground.” Rose’s new song gave their fans (Blinks) another look into her perspective on everything she, Jisoo, Lisa, and Jenny has achieved since their debut in 2016.
The K-pop group has experimented with a variety of genres including ballads, bubblegum pop, and trap. They also have collaborated with Selena Gomez, Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, and Cardi B.
Rose was born in New Zealand and raised in Australia. She made the choice to record an English song. It is the language she’s most comfortable with.
Her song “On The Ground” debuted at No. 8 on Spotify’s Global Top 50 chart for March 12. It’s just a day after she dropped her solo album called “R.”

GMA-7 actress Glaiza de Castro recently dropped her acoustic cover of Rose’s “On The Ground.” She shared a TikTok video of her playing the guitar and singing the K-pop star’s hit single.
In the caption of the post, she wrote: “Nag Tiktok na rin po ako, opo.”
As of this writing, Glaiza de Castro’s acoustic cover has reached 392,000 on TikTok since she uploaded it on Wednesday, March 24. She previously did a dance cover of BLACKPINK’s hit song “How You Like That.” She also covered “Eight” Suga and IU.
The 33-year-old actress is set to headline the tv adaptation of the hit ‘80s movie “Nagbabagang Luha” with Claire Castro and Rayver Cruz.
