FIRE ALERT – Five individuals have passed away after afire hits an exclusive village in Quezon City
On Saturday dawn (March 20, 2021), Fire Chief Insp. Joseph Del Mundo reported that a huge fire hits a big house at Corinthian Gardens subdivision inBarangay Ugong Norte. The fire incident even reached the second alarm.
Five members of the Yu family have died after they were trapped and stuck inside the burning house in the subdivision. The victims are aging 57, 62 and 65 while the two others are 20-year-old below.
Del Mundo said that the house has no fire alarm and water sprinkler to put out the fire. Other family members were able to survive and have been rushed to the hospital after suffering breathing difficulty.
The household workers and drivers at the house were also able to survive. The fire damage costs around P60 million.

The Heart Response team reported that some residence of the house suffered minor injuries but immediately received first aid. Some of them suffered wounds on their toes and arms because of the incident.
BFP reminded the public to check their appliances and electrical wiring to avoid fire during the Fire Prevention Month (March).
