In the present situation, the virus has been affecting the lives of people in different walks of life. Even the high and mighty individuals are suffering from the pandemic. Several local and international celebrities already tested positive despite the precautions and safety measures.
In the recent article by entertainment columnist Jun Nardo in Pang-Masa, it was said that the name of Maine Mendoza is the new addition to the list of Pinoy celebrities who tested positive for COVID-19.
The columnist said that the recent development came to their knowledge as an insider from the Kapuso noontime show revealed that Maine got infected. However, Nardo said that they haven’t confirmed yet this matter from the management of Eat Bulaga.

Because of this, the columnist said that the new show of the Phenomenal Star with her Eat Bulaga co-host Paolo Ballestereos on TV5 might be postponed its pilot telecast.
Maine and Paolo are set to host the new talent search in the Kapatid network that aims to produce a new Pinoy-pop band.
Nardo added that these past few days, Maine Mendoza has been absent in the Kapuso show. If the information from EB insider was true, this means that the Phenomenal Star will be the third host who got infected.
Previously, comedians Allan K and Wally Bayola also revealed that they tested positive for COVID-19.
