George Clooney, Tom Holand, Jacob Elordi Jam to BTS’ ‘Dynamite’
DYNAMITE – Hollywood stars like George Clooney, Tom Holand, and Jacob Elordi did a rendition of BTS’ hit song ‘Dynamite.’
South Korean boy band BTS released its first all-English song ‘Dynamite’ on August 21, 2020. The song charted for 2 weeks at the #1 Billboard Hot 100 and the group became the first Korean act to top the chart for weeks.
The K-pop group broke seven Guinness World Records with their song. It also became the most viewed Youtube video in 24 hours.
Recently, international celebrities like George Clooney, Jared Leto, Tom Holland, Leslie Odom Jr, Steven Yeun, Rachel Brosnahan, Andra Day, Tessa Thompson, and James Corden among others gave their renditions of BTS’ ‘Dynamite.’
The video was uploaded on W Magazine’s Youtube channel on March 12. The 3-minute black-and-white video was part of the magazine’s virtual celebration for annual Best Performances Issue.
In the description, the magazine recognized the achievements of BTS adding that they were inspired by their impact. “We at W were inspired by the impact BTS—and its fandom, known as the Army—made, not just in the realm of music, but for the culture at large, and chose their song “Dynamite” for our annual round of Lyrical Improv,” it read.

They were nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the Grammy Awards 2021. BTS is the first-ever K-pop group to earn a nomination at the Grammys.
