AirAsia Philippines: P0.25 Promo Fares For BIG Members
AIRASIA – Budget carrier AirAsia Philippines has recently announced promotional fares for as low as P0.25 for its BIG Members.
According to a report from GMA News, the airline said in an advisor that the P0.25 promo will be available for BIG Members starting Monday, March 8, up to Wednesday, March 10.
The travel period is from June 1, 2021 to December 15, 2021 or nearly the second half of the year 2021.
Among the destinations included are the following:
- Bacolod
- Bohol
- Caticlan
- Cebu
- Davao
- General Santos
- Tacloban
- Puerto Princesa
- Zamboanga.
BIG is a Freedom Flyer program from the said carrier where members may earn points, depending on the fare type and the amount spent. The points can be redeemed to book more flights.
“As the demand for travel is increasing ahead of the summer months, AirAsia wishes to keep the momentum by providing low fares beyond the season,”
“As more destinations open up to leisure travelers, we will remain vigilant in implementing our enhanced safety measures throughout their journeys,”
This came from a statement by the carrier’s spokesperson Steve Dailisan.
Based on the report, the carrier resumed its services in June 2020, just nearly after three months of suspension due to lockdowns meant to curb the spread of COVID-19.
The carrier, along Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines, appealed earlier for the government to provide P8.6 billion in assistance to the flight industry, which faced losses during the period.
