Megastar Sharon Cuneta is tearful over the death of Rocky Gathercole.
SHARON CUNETA – A tearful Megastar Sharon Cuneta faces her followers expressing her sadness over the passing of her dear friend and Pinoy international fashion designer Rocky Gathercole.
Rocky Gathercole is a Filipino international fashion designer who has already worked with several Hollywood stars such as Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Paris Hilton, and Nicki Minaj. However, on March 3, his body was found inside a bathroom and already lifeless.
He lives in Samar Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City, and his untimely death has broke many hearts. And one of whom who mourned his sudden passing is Megastar Sharon Cuneta who regarded him ever since as her dear friend.
The Megastar was amid her work when she received the sad news about it and she was crying when she’s not supposed to. She is deeply affected losing one of the fashion designers close to her heart. To recall, she was a special performer during his benefit show in 2017 for the Bantay Bata of ABS-CBN Foundation called Rock The Runway.
She recalled that he was also the one who dressed her during her 40th anniversary concert held in 2018 at Smart Araneta Coliseum. She wrote in her post on Instagram, “I miss you already, dearest Rocky. Thank you for loving me all these years. Me and my family’s deepest condolences to Rocky’s family during this terrible time.”
The Pinoy fashion designer is just 54 years old. He was found unresponsive by one of his staff, Simplicia Sampiano, at around 5 p.m., already lifeless inside his Quezon City home. Upon examining his body, the authorities have found no external injuries on the discovered body.
