PNP Rescues Abducted Taiwanese National in Parañaque City

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has rescued the Taiwanese National allegedly abducted in Parañaque City on Tuesday.

In the operation of the PNP Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG), a Taiwanese national named Wu Keng Hao was rescued after being allegedly abducted. PNP Chief Police General Debold Sinas said the rescue operation was conducted after receiving reports regarding the kidnapping of Hao.

Operatives carried out the rescue operation around 9:30 a.m. and found the victim in a Parañaque City building in coordination with the security personnel of the establishment.

According to Sinas, the kidnapped victim was found alone inside the room and there were no suspects guarding him. Sinas also assured that PNP will investigate the matter and continue manhunt operations against the kidnappers.

Meanwhile, Zamfara state authorities are preparing for an operation to rescue 300 schoolgirls who were kidnapped from their school. However, attempts to pinpoint their location had failed almost 24 hours after the armed men raided their school.

Police reports said that some girls were taken via vehicles while others were transferred by foot. The police and the army were working together to capture the bandits who took 317 girls from the Government Girls Science Secondary School.
