Nathalie Hart Apologizes Over “Homophobe” Remarks After Doing MMK

NATHALIE HART – Here’s a statement from Nathalie Hart apologizing for what she said regarding the role she played in Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK).

In a previous article, actress and model Nathalie Hart honestly admitted struggles in portraying the role she played in a recent episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK). She was partnered with Jane Oineza. She honestly admitted to finding it difficult to pull off a lesbian role.

“It’s my first time to play a lesbian role. I’m very excited na nagawa ko siya at nalunok ko yung role na ito. I think I gave justice to the role,” she said about it. She also added that she’d rather be with a gay person than a lesbian as they have similar liking to men. She quipped, “Ang tomboy kasi, parang ewan ko. Lalaki pa rin talaga ang gusto ko!”

Such statement of her has earned reaction, the real persons behind their character reacted to her statemend and called it a “homophobic” remark. The lesbian behind her role expressed disappointment. The Tweet from Tina said, “Nothing more frustrating than having your love story depicted on mainstream media, only for you to find out later on that a homophobe played your role.”

On Instagram, Hart apologized for her statement she believed was taken out of context. She said her sorries to those who got offended by what she said. She also expressed her love for gay people and regret his actions. She added, “I’m truly sorry.”
