Elderly Man Found Dead At Waters Off Dalaguete Town, Cebu
DALAGUETE TOWN – An old man was recently found dead off the seawaters off Sitio Panaguikan, Barangay Tapon, Dalaguete town, Cebu.
The discovery of the dead body was around 8:45 AM on Thursday, February 25, 2021, according to Inquirer’s Cebu Daily News.
The fatality was identified as Diosdado Cuestas Salamangca, aged 87 and a resident of Sitio Panaguikan.
Initial investigation showed that Salamangca was said to have suffered a cardiac arrest while he was swimming. His neighbor told the local police that his body was seen floating on Thursday morning.
The elderly man was rushed to Dr. Ildefonso Alcatara Hospital but was declared dead on arrival or DOA by the attending physicians, based on the report.
In a separate report, a man was shot to death while sleeping with his grandchild in Calituban, Talibon town, Bohol.

The fatality was beside his 10-year-old grandson when the assailant climbed up to his balcony and shoot him in the head.
