Megastar Sharon Cuneta shared her reaction to the recent achievement that Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto received from the United Nations.
On February 24, reports surfaced that the young Filipino politician is among the recipients of U. N.’s 12 International Anticorruption Champions. Because of this, the Pasig City Mayor once again garnered the admiration of many people for the service that he is doing for his constituents.
This recent achievement of Mayor Vico received a reaction from the Megastar. In the recent Instagram post of Sharon Cuneta, she shared a screenshot a news report about this showing ta map and the photo of the anticorruption champions are posted above the portion where their country is found in the map.
The singer-actress said that all the Mayors and those who are in whatever position should do the same kind of service that Mayor Vico has been doing for the people of Pasig City.
“My gosh…Mayor Vico makes us all so proud! Dapat lahat ng Mayor at iba pang nasa posisyon di lang kasing humble niya at tapat sa pagsisilbi sa bansa kundi ganyan din kagaling!” the Megastar said.
Sharon Cuneta congratulated the young mayor and his parents Vic Sotto and Coney Reyes. “Congrats, Mayor Vico and dearest Ate Coney and Tiyong Marvic!!! Praying for you always, Mayor!” she said.
Previously, netizens admired the young mayor for saying that he does not want his face to be in the projects of the LGU. It is because this is how he does public service.
