Voltes V became a subject of this editorial cartoon

Voltes V: Legacy creative heat Suzette Doctolero slammed cartoonist Pol Medina, Jr. who was behind an editorial cartoon featuring the Kapuso upcoming series.

The cartoonist created a comic strip with the characters of the anime that was released in 1977. “Baka naman imbes na lazer sword e magsampalan at magsabunutan na lang sila,” one of the characters that Medina created said this in the comic strip.

PS: ang Voltes V ay isinulat rin sa wikang Pilipino. Mga pango tayong lahat at pinoy, kaya hindi namin ito isinulat sa wikang ingles.  Naman o,” she stressed.
