Emma Stone is the new Cruella de Vil
Disney released the first movie poster of Cruella, the prime antagonist in 101 Dalmatians, featuring Emma Stone.
Among the notable movies that Emma did were La La Land, The Amazing Spider-man, and Zombieland. Now, she is set to play the iconic character who was created by English author Dodie Smith in his novel The Hundred and One Dalmatians released in 1956.
The character is known for her high fashion sense to the extent that she would kidnap puppies for her fashion creation. Over the years, this character has become a symbol of greed, vanity, and evil as what her name suggests.
On Wednesday, the official Twitter page of Cruella released the first movie poster. In the poster, Emma Stone sports the iconic character’s look. “Hello, Cruel World. New Trailer Tomorrow,” the post stated.
Prior to this, Emma’s photo while holding three Dalmatian dogs already surfaced. Based on the recent article in Just Jared, this movie has been in the production stage for five long years.

Emma will portray the young Cruella de Vil and she was joined by Emma Thompson, Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, Emily Beecham, and Mark Strong as parts of the cast members.

The movie released date will be on May 28, 2021. Disney is set to release the official trailer of the Cruella movie on February 17 (US). On Wednesday, the name of Emma Stone became one of the trending topics because of this.
