11-Year-Old Child Killed In Badiangan Town Shootout
BADIANGAN TOWN – An 11-year-old child was killed after she was caught in the middle of shootout in Badiangan town in Iloilo province.
According to a report from GMA News’ Balitambayan, the victim, was shot in the head and nape after her residence was attacked by an assailant who targeted her grandfather and uncle.
Police investigations show that prior to the shooting, the victim’s uncle had a fight with the suspect, identified as April John Valle outside the street where the suspect was assaulted.
Despite having their fight settled, Valle was not satisfied, and proceeded to approch the residence and started attacking, according to Lt. Col. Ma. Doreen Losaria of the local police.
The victim was inside the house with her cousin but she was the only one who got hit in the bullet. The suspect was immediately arrested but denied claims that she was the suspect, based on the report.
