WHO Team Investigation On COVID-19 Origins To Be Disclosed To Public

WHO Team Investigation On COVID-19 Origins To Be Publicized Soon

WHO TEAM INVESTIGATION – A team of medical experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) is set to disclose to the public their findings on the origins of COVID-19.

Among the many mysteries that came about this pandemic is its origins. According to reports, the first case of the once mysterious new virus began at a wet food market from Wuhan, China. However, this begs the question of where did the virus originate?

As such, after nearly a month of meetings and site visits, members of WHO are set to hold a briefing on Tuesday to discuss their investigation. Furthermore, WHO said it would also include experts from China who were also part of the investigation.

According to an article from ABS-CBN, the team arrived in Wuhan on January 14 and began their 2 week quarantine. Afterward, they visited key areas that began during the first outbreak of COVID-19.

This included sites such as the Huanan seafood market, as well as the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Along with this, zoologist Peter Daszak, a member of the team, said they aimed to “identify the next steps to fill in the gaps”.

However, another team of infectious disease professionals said it could potentially take up to a year to understand the truth behind COVID-19. Meanwhile, Beijing has continued to accuse Washington of mixing politics into the scientific mission.
