Eastern Samar Experienced Flooding Due to Incessant Rains

Some areas in Eastern Samar are currently submerged in floodwaters due to the incessant rains brought by a low-pressure area.

On Tuesday (February 9, 2021), the Department of Public Works and Highways in Eastern Samar said that San Vicente in the town of Quinapondan is currently impassable for light vehicles due to the floodwaters.

Barangay Bigo, which is a part of Arteche-Jipapad-Las Navas-Catubig-Rawis Road has also experienced flooding. The roads in the area were also impassable for all types of vehicles due to the flooding.
