CYCLOPS PUPPY: One-Eyed Puppy Passes Away a Few Seconds After It Was Born in Tangalan, Aklan
CYCLOPS PUPPY – A puppy born with a single eye on the center of its forehead shocked its owners in Tangalan, Aklan.
A Facebook user named Amie de Martin has shared the photos of her one-eyed puppy on her social media account. The photos of the strange puppy immediately spread like a wildfire online and elicit comments from the netizens.
In the photos, it can be seen that the puppy has been born with a single eye only while it’s five other siblings were normal. The lady owner named the cute animal as “Cyclops” because of its single eye.
Unfortunately, the cyclops puppy died a few seconds after its birth due to health complications. “Namatay din, wala kasing ilong at bunganga,” De Martin said
The puppy probably suffered a rare birth defect, which appears when the front portion of the brain doesn’t properly split into right and left hemispheres.
De Martin and her family have decided to preserve the remains of the puppy, which has been born with no nose and mouth.
