Lindsay de Vera plans to take legal action against people spreading fake news
Kapuso actress Lindsay de Vera is planning to take legal action following the spread of the pregnancy rumors involving her and Primetime King Dingdong Dantes.
The said rumor surfaced following a blind item stating that an actor impregnated a controversial actress. Initially, the online community was talking about Robin Padilla and Mocha Uson as the alleged subjects of the blind item.
Later on, it was referred to Dingdong and Lindsay who worked together in the Kapuso defunct series Alyas Robinhood.
Breaking her silence on this issue, Lindsay de Vera debunked the pregnancy rumors, based on the article in PEP. “Walang namagitan po sa amin ni Kuya Dong,” the actress said in an interview.
She also said that she is wondering why the pregnancy rumor linked her and Dingdong when their project together happened in 2017. Then, she did Victor Magtanggol in 2018 which means she did not get pregnant.
“Kung nabuntis po ako, dapat noong Victor Magtanggol pa lang, nakikita na nila na lumalaki yung tiyan ko or may napapansin na sila sa katawan ko na kakaiba. But, I still did projects, I still did guestings all throughout the years. So, It’s not true. Hindi po totoo,” Lindsay said.
She also said that is now consulting her lawyer regarding the ways she can do against those who spread the fake news.
“Ang masasabi ko po kasi is, right now, I’m already talking to lawyers as well, we are talking to our lawyers. And we are speaking of possible charges that we can file to those who claim that to be true,” Lindsay de Vera said.
