Richard Yap Admitted That He Can’t Perform the Gay Role if Given a Project
The new Kapuso leading man Richard Yap admitted that he can’t perform the gay role if ever he will be given a project with that role.
Yap answered one by one the controversial questions about his personal and professional life in “The Boobay and Tekla Show” (TBATS) hosted by Super Tekla and Boobay last Sunday and the public learned a lot about his career and love life.
The actor is the guest in the “May Pa-Presscon” segment of the Kapuso comedy show and here he answered who his crushes in showbiz are and whether he is willing to perform ‘beki’ or gay in an acting project.
In the first part of the segment, Richard admitted that he really had no intention of acting. When he was young someone offered him a model but he refused. When he was in college he was approached to be a model. However, he said that he doesn’t need money so he refuses.

Following this, other offers came to her until she received a racket to become a commercial model until she entered acting as well. He also mentioned some female stars that he had a super crush on when he was not in showbiz, including Dawn Zulueta, Angel Locsin, and Solenn Heussaff.
And when asked if he will play in a gay movie or BL (Boys ’Love) series. “Baka hindi, e. Para kasing hindi ko siya kaya, baka hindi ko magampanan nang tama,” he replied.
He said his dream project is action-drama and I hope he was given a chance to make this kind of movie or series. He said he likes action characters like James Bond. The actor also said that he was only 14 when he first had a relationship.
And because Richard’s body is so fit now and at his age, he is still mistaken for a child, he shared some health tips for hot dads like him. He said, as long as the most important thing is proper diet, exercise, and adequate sleep. Drinking plenty of water every day can also help prevent dehydration.
