Here’s what Regine Velasquez shared about her realization amid the pandemic
Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez shared her “hugot” about the important things in life amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
As the Philippines is battling against this health crisis for a year, the lives of many took drastic changes and that included the people who are in the entertainment industry.
Fortunately, Regine is one of those artists who still has projects amid the pandemic and during the toughest time for their home network ABS-CBN when it was not able to renew its franchise.
In a recent interview for her upcoming concert titled Freedom, Regine Velasquez stressed the importance of relationship over material things.
“Kaysa sa mga material na bagay, mas naging importante ang relationship. So, ako I’m praying na we will not go back to our old life and we just continue with this new found learnings and life we all now experiencing,” she said.
This statement of the singer-actress came from her realization that the pandemic has brought a lot of lessons to many people about their fellow individuals.

“We’ve become closer as a family, friends mas naging importante ‘yun kaysa sa kinikita natin, alam mo ‘yon,” Regine said.
She also expressed that she is thankful for all the blessings that she received despite the difficult times that everyone has to face.
Regine Velasquez, as what many people have wished, also said that she hopes this pandemic will end soon. “Sana, sana matapos na itong pinagdaraanan natin na ito, para we could go back to our old life,” the Asia’s Songbird said.
