4 Alleged Kidnappers in Quezon City Were Killed During the Police Operation

Authorities killed four alleged kidnappers in Quezon City after they exchanges shot with police during the rescue operation.

According to the report of GMA News, a Chinese man who was allegedly abducted by the suspects was rescued. The operation took place before four o’clock in the morning in Barangay Holy Spirit.

The PNP Anti-Kidnapping Group elements launched an operation after receiving information from a friend of the abducted Chinese man around 10 pm on Thursday.

Police caught up with the three suspects inside a house and the other was standing in the alley just a few meters close to where the three were. The suspects allegedly clashed with the police and were killed.

The victim was said to have escaped well, based on the report. Police have not yet provided details on the rescue operation.

It is also alleged that the personnel of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit was rushed because it was reported that the suspects were carrying grenades. Police recovered a gun from the suspects.

The investigation into the incident is still ongoing and the identity of the suspects is still being ascertained. According to residents in the area, they do not know the four because they have only been renting the house for about two weeks.
