Live-In Couple Arrested In Drug Bust Operation In Tondo, Manila
TONDO – A live-in couple were recently arrested by police operatives in a buy-bust operation in Rizal Avenue, Tondo district, Maynila.
The 18-year old male suspect sold illegal drugs which is worth at about P500, with his 18-year-old partner, who was 6 months pregnant, according to a report from ABS-CBN News.
About 500 pieces of suspected illegal drugs were confiscated from the suspects, which is worth at about P850,000.
Police Lt. Joan Dorado, chief of drug enforcement unit of MPD Station 7, the suspects sell their drugs online to fellow youngsters who attend to parties.
There are instances of such activity that slip through the eyes of authorities during general community quarantine, especially if those involved have connections to hotel personnel.
The suspects were previously monitored for selling party drugs in Manila, Quezon City and Caloocan.
The suspect admitted that he also use and sell illegal drugs. The live-in couple will be charged for selling drugs without bail.

The four suspects arrested are said to be members of a huge syndicate, who has been operating in other areas in Metro Manila.
